Time is how we measure our lives. Whether it’s how long we are waiting, working, or how long we have been on this planet.
How time works:
Time is measured by the sun and moon, specifically how long it takes each to rise and to set and how long it takes our planet to get around the sun. It typically takes 10-12 hours for sun to rise and set in our sky and the moon takes up the remaining time once the sun goes down. There are times when the moon is in the sky during the day in place of the sun,(this is called an eclipse). A year is how long it takes our planet to get around the sun,(this is called a cycle).
Measurements of time:
1 millennium=10 centuries
1 century=100 years
1 year=365 days
1 day=24 hours
1 hour=60 minutes
1 minute=60 seconds
